Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent in Westerville, OH to manage all on-site activities from permitting through closing. You will coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance with building codes, and maintain safety and quality standards while delivering homes on schedule.

The role requires strong communication with customers and internal teams, ability to manage budgets, and a commitment to delivering a superior homebuilding experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule to deliver high-quality homes on time and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors for each construction phase and ensure workmanship meets standards.
• Oversee site activities from permit to occupancy and resolve issues.
• Inspect workmanship and halt noncompliant work as needed.
