Job summary

Last Energy seeks a Helpdesk Technician to support the day-to-day IT needs of a fast-growing, DOE-regulated nuclear startup. You will act as the first point of contact for IT tickets and assist with onboarding and device lifecycle across Google Workspace and MDM platforms.

With 1–2+ years of hands-on IT support, you will troubleshoot issues, document solutions, and contribute to building internal standards. This role requires on-site presence five days a week at our Austin facility.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years hands-on IT support/helpdesk experience.
• Strong first-principles troubleshooting instincts.
• Experience with Windows and macOS; basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN).

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for day-to-day IT support tickets.
• Own new hire onboarding and device lifecycle: provisioning, imaging, and enrollment.
• Administer user accounts, access, and endpoint compliance.
• Document recurring issues and build a knowledge base.
