Job summary

Form Energy is seeking an IT Support Technician at our Weirton, WV facility to be the first point of contact for end users and support day-to-day IT needs. The role covers onboarding, setup, service requests, and troubleshooting for Windows/Mac devices and peripherals at a 6:00am-2:30pm onsite shift.

You will join a distributed IT team supporting employees across the U.S., working in a dynamic environment with strong emphasis on customer service, problem solving, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience with 1+ years IT experience.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask; a quick learner who is adaptable.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting onsite users.
• Experience with printer support.
• Experience with Windows in an AD environment; Mac experience is a plus.
• Experience with standard business applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Adobe Acrobat, 1Password.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 1 and 2 support to Form Energy employees
• Configure, maintain and support IT hardware including user laptops, desktops and lab computers
• Install and configure appropriate software according to specifications
• Troubleshoot printer, AV and network issues
• Assist with the onboarding of employees
• Create new user accounts
• Manage an inventory of IT assets and supplies
• Update documented processes
