Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Implementation Consultant II for its Schaumburg, IL office. You will partner with clients to design customized HR/Payroll configurations, lead discovery sessions, and ensure accurate data conversion and onboarding for mid-complex projects.

Responsibilities include data migration, mapping, validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality implementations. In-office role; remote/hybrid not available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Customer Service or Customer interfacing role.
• 2+ years of HCM implementation experience preferred.
• Highschool Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Paylocity products and process is preferred.
• Client-centric, strong communication skills throughout implementation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel; data manipulation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor, ensuring exceptional client experiences during implementation.
• Provide smooth transition and post-implementation support as needed.
• Assist clients in data migration, mapping, and validation for data integration.
• Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements for HCM functions.
• Review and configure system to align with client needs for optimal use.
• Collaborate with sales, product SMEs and PMs to deliver high-quality implementations.
• Troubleshoot and escalate implementation issues as needed.
• Provide guidance on HCM best practices and change management.
