Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Safe & Secure team member to protect associates, customers, and vehicles at the gate. This boots-on-the-ground role involves monitoring, safety audits, snow removal, and enforcing ingress/egress procedures to keep the site open and secure.

You will be the face of Carvana at the gate, coordinate with Inspection Center and Logistics, and be trained in first aid, CPR, and AED. This hourly, 24/7 role offers growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment
• Strong verbal and written communication
• A track record of solid decision-making in a complex, fast-moving environment
• Ability to build strong working relationships and connect with people quickly
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to handle conflict in a positive, productive way

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and listen actively to signals.
• Use CCTV/RFID tech to monitor and protect the site.
• De-escalate and collaborate with partners during incidents.
• Run point at the gate using SAS App and RFID procedures.
• Manage vehicle movement through gates and inspections.
• Get trained in first aid, CPR, and AED and apply when needed.
• Know emergency protocols and act decisively when seconds count.
• Keep the site operational in all weather and conditions.
• Drive safety audits and report findings to leadership.
