Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks at customer sites. Responsibilities include maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.

Requires 3+ years mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, high school diploma with electrical coursework; valid driver's license; ability to lift 50 lbs; strong communication and teamwork. The role involves travel and strict safety compliance with tools provided by Plug Power.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three (3) or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of lift truck operation and applications is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to support fleet at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as required.
• Purchase tools, equipment, and parts for customer service and support as required.
• Travel as needed to customer sites and hydrogen suppliers; report breakdown events and maintain service logs.
• Document incident reports, service logs, and site documentation; ensure safety procedures.
