Job summary

Henkel in Austin, TX is seeking an on-site technical service professional for the Adhesive Technologies unit. You’ll provide routine technical service at defined customer accounts, support forecasting and supply processes, and help align sales with sustainability goals.

This role requires BS/BA in engineering or business (chemistry background preferred), manufacturing experience in a sales/service function, and strong communication and customer-relations skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in engineering or business; chemistry background preferred.
• Manufacturing experience in a sales/service function, preferably at a customer site.
• Strong work ethic and excellent customer relationship skills.
• Strong communication skills internally and externally.
• Strong problem resolution and technical leadership skills.
• This is an on-site role with 7AM to 4PM Monday–Friday; some weekend work may occur.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site routine technical service at defined customer account.
• Performs inventory management and maintains related consumption data at customer processes/lines.
• Supports forecasting and supply process wherever applicable.
• Maintains quality and efficiency level of products and escalates challenges to Application Engineering.
• Acts as first-window-person between customer line and field sales.
• Aligns sales strategies with sustainability goals.
• Develops customer-centric initiatives to enhance loyalty and long-term partnership; implements VOC feedback.
• Monitors competitor activities, pricing, positioning.
