Job summary

Group CBS, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services at customer locations. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction.

You will travel to sites, perform installations and commissioning, document work, and communicate findings clearly to customers and internal teams. A strong mechanical/electrical background and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills with ability to read schematics and manuals.
Experience in field service, maintenance, or related technical field.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to document work clearly.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
Travel to customer sites for on-site support, installation, and training.
Document service activities, parts used, and hours worked using reports and orders.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers as a trusted advisor for service needs.
