Job summary

Group CBS is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to travel to customer sites, inspect and test electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and collect data for project teams. You will supervise Trainees, Assistants, and Technicians, mentoring Level 1 and 2 staff and ensuring consistent testing across the crew.

The role requires strong reading of blueprints and schematics, knowledge of LOTO and safety processes, and the ability to work with a variety of high- and medium-voltage equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Electrical testing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data on electrical systems.
• Supervise Trainees, Assistants, and Technicians in electrical testing duties.
• Mentor and supervise Level 1 and 2 trainees and technicians.
• Document test results and complete field reports.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory laws and safety practices.
