Job summary

Group CBS is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services at customer locations. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, install and commission equipment, and ensure proper setup and safe operation.

You will also document all service activities, communicate findings clearly, and maintain professional relationships with customers while maintaining vehicle and tool readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or related technical field.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and professionalism.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment.
• Travel to customer sites for on-site support, installation, and training.
• Document service activities and hours worked using reports and work orders.
• Provide clear service findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
