Job summary

Group CBS, Inc. is seeking a seasoned field service technician to perform testing, maintenance, commissioning, and repairs on electrical power equipment at customer facilities.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, read technical documents, and document results while supporting outages and emergency responses. The role requires at least eight years of experience, NETA certification (or ability to obtain), and strong adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of electrical testing and maintenance experience.
• NETA certification or ability to obtain NETA Level III/IV.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs on electrical power equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in substations and power systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Complete service reports and testing documentation for customers.
• Support emergency response and customer outage situations as needed.
