Job summary

IPG invites experienced Field Service Technician to join our Field Service team. You will perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of IPG/Better Packages equipment at customer locations, ensuring equipment uptime and high levels of service.

This role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong customer communication, and the ability to work independently while representing IPG at customer sites. Frequent travel, including overnight, is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical associate degree preferred.
• Experience diagnosing electrical and mechanical systems at customer sites.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance on IPG/Better Packages equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and minor automation issues using testing tools and documentation.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders; travel as required.
• Assist with field testing and training customer maintenance teams as needed.
