Job summary

Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG is seeking a Field Service Technician in Texas to install, repair, and troubleshoot industrial cleaning equipment at customer sites, delivering on-site service excellence and customer training.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and hands-on experience with diesel engines or heavy equipment, plus a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally. You will work with a professional team to keep equipment running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification desirable.
• Proven hands-on repair and maintenance experience with automobiles, diesel engines, military vehicles, or heavy equipment.
• Strong electro-mechanical and small engine skills; basic electrical knowledge (AC/DC).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; PC literacy for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site service by installing, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial cleaning equipment at customer locations.
• Maintain van inventory, complete cycle counts, and submit daily work orders and timesheets.
• Communicate with Dispatch Center; identify opportunities for additional service revenue.
• Ensure safe operation of company vehicles and professional representation at customer sites.
