Job summary

Nilfisk, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment at customer sites in Austin, TX.

You will complete time sheets, reports, and keep training/certifications up to date while maintaining van stock of spare parts. The role requires an associates degree or equivalent with 3 years of related field experience, valid Driver's License, and DOT Certification; strong English communication and problem-solving skills are

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent; 5 years related experience.
• 3 years experience in similar field.
• Valid Driver's License and DOT Certification.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; interpret manuals.
• Understand electrical/hydraulic schematics; read wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repair of commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment.
• Complete required reporting of service work and time sheets.
• Maintain training and certifications up to date.
• Keep spare parts stock level in van.
