Job summary

Leidos is seeking a field service technician for the SES group to install, modify, and repair complex equipment at customer sites worldwide. You will perform on-site testing and start-up, isolate malfunctions, and coordinate repairs to meet contractual SLAs, often traveling long distances.

Candidates should have related electrical/electrical/mechanical trade experience or military training, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Related trade experience (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or military training; equivalence via work/life experience in 2+ years of field service.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical/electronic systems.
• Excellent communication skills with strong customer focus and teamwork; travel on short notice.
• Able to pass an in-depth background check (TSA eQIP).

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, modification, and repair of complex equipment and systems at customer sites.
• Conduct on-site installation and testing to ensure proper operation.
• Isolate malfunctions and take corrective actions to restore service.
• Manage work orders and coordinate repair activities to meet SLAs; travel as required.
• Update CRM work orders in Salesforce, Maximo, and GURU.
