Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers with on-site service, technical support, and on-site training in the Phoenix area. Responsibilities include commissioning SCR equipment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and delivering post-installation training.

The role requires travel, strong instrumentation knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes safety and adherence to procedures in a non-smoking facility.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of industrial instrumentation & controls including analog transmitters, temperature/pressure measuring devices, PID controls.
• Proficiency with AC and DC Circuits including Relay Logic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning the total system scope supplied by MIRATECH on new installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and service on existing products.
• Provide telephone support to customers including troubleshooting and replacement parts identification.
• Site coordination and project meetings.
• Post-commissioning customer training on operations and maintenance.
• Daily reports to customers and internal staff while in the field.
• Follow up customer calls after service work completion.
• Keep up-to-date on company products and services.
• Plan own work schedule efficiently.
• Maintain test equipment and special tools calibration.
• 60 - 75% overnight travel.
