Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers with on-site service, technical support, and on-site training. You will commission SCR equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and prepare reports.

The role requires travel and strong communication within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include providing telephone support, conducting post-commissioning training, and maintaining calibration of tools and equipment while staying current with MIRATECH

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of industrial instrumentation & controls including analog transmitters, temperature/pressure measuring devices, PID controls.
• Proficiency with AC and DC Circuits including Relay Logic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and passport or ability to obtain one.
• 60-75% overnight travel with higher concentrations during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning the total system scope supplied by MIRATECH on new installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and service on existing products.
• Provide telephone support to customers including troubleshooting and replacement parts identification.
• Site coordination and project meetings.
• Post-commissioning customer training on operations and maintenance.
• Daily reports to customers and internal staff while in the field.
• Follow up customer calls after service work completion.
• Keep up-to-date on company products and services.
• Plan own work schedule efficiently.
• Maintain test equipment and special tools calibration.
