Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers with on-site service, equipment commissioning, preventive maintenance, and training in the Phoenix area. The role requires strong electrical/instrumentation knowledge, problem solving, and the ability to travel up to 75% with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial instrumentation & controls including transmitters and sensors.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and relay logic.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to travel 60–75% with overnight travel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and passport or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications; proficiency test may be required.
• Foreign language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning the total system scope supplied by MIRATECH on new installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and service on existing products.
• Provide telephone support to customers including troubleshooting and parts identification.
• Site coordination and project meetings.
• Post-commissioning customer training on operations and maintenance.
• Daily reports to customers and internal staff while in the field.
• Follow up customer calls after service work completion.
• Keep up-to-date on MIRATECH products and services.
• Plan own work schedule efficiently.
• Maintain test equipment and special tools calibration.
