Job summary

Segra is seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage day-to-day network activities, including installation, commissioning, and testing of telecom equipment. You will handle circuit turn-up, IP networks, and customer premise devices, with on-call duties as needed.

This role emphasizes independent work and collaboration with service teams. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of telecom gear experience, familiarity with Cisco/Ciena equipment, and a technical degree or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of telecom equipment experience.
• Knowledge of Cisco and/or Ciena equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission network equipment at customer sites.
• Turn-up and test circuits/nodes and troubleshoot.
• Manage customer premises equipment including routers, switches, ONT, IP phones.
• Perform on-call duties as required.
• Coordinate with customers and service teams.
