Job summary

Segra in Ohio seeks a Field Service Engineer to manage day-to-day network activities, including installation, commissioning, turn-up, and testing of transport and IP/data networks. You will work with customer premises equipment and participate in on-call duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in telecom gear, familiarity with Cisco or Ciena equipment, and a technical degree or related experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of telecom equipment experience.
• Familiarity with Cisco and/or Ciena equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and turn up telecom equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot transport, switching, and IP networks.
• Perform on-call duties and support field technicians.
• Interact with customers and internal teams.
