Job summary

Segra is seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage daily network activities, including installation, commissioning, and testing of telecom equipment. You will handle customer premises gear, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot IP/Data networks.

The role requires at least 2 years in telecom gear and an associate degree. A valid driver’s license and independent work capability are preferred. The position is on-site in a full-time capacity with 5 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of telecom equipment (e.g., Cisco, Ciena).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with telecom equipment.
• Strong understanding of engineering documents and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment and perform circuit/node turn-up and testing.
• Handle customer premise equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on transport and IP/Data networks.
• Work on-call as required and coordinate with internal/external teams.
