Job summary

Segra is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support in-office network installations, testing and turn-up of telecom equipment. You will handle Ethernet NICs, routers, switches, firewalls, IADs, ONTs, and related transport and IP networks, with on-call duties as needed.

The role requires at least 2 years of telecom hardware experience, familiarity with Cisco or Ciena gear, and the ability to work with customers and field teams in a fast-paced environment. A technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with telecom equipment.
• Knowledge of telecom equipment (Cisco, Ciena, etc.).
• AC/DC core fundamentals; good driving record; Office 365 suite.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission telecom equipment.
• Perform circuit/node turn-up and testing.
• Troubleshoot transport, switching, and IP/Data networks.
• Handle on-call duties as required.
