Job summary

Skanska is seeking a Field Engineer to oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met. The role entails coordinating with Project Engineers and Superintendents, enforcing safety rules, and preparing daily progress reports.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or 6 years of equivalent experience, with 1–3 years of construction experience and the ability to lead field teams while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent OR 6 years of equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of relevant construction experience.
• Sponsorship not available to work now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate on-site project activities to meet safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives.
• Enforce Skanska Safety and Health Management Program; stop work for safety violations.
• Supervise daily field labor; inspect contractor/subcontractor operations; manage corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain site logistics plans with the Superintendent; conduct quality inspections; coordinate testing and inspections.
• Prepare detailed short-term schedules and daily progress reports; participate in meetings to provide technical guidance; ensure successful execution of all activities.
