Job summary

Skanska is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to oversee on-site field operations, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and profitability. You will report to the Superintendent and manage labor, subcontractors, and quality control while maintaining strong owner/architect relationships.

Required are 3+ years in construction with safety/QC administration, knowledge of plans/specs, and familiar with Procore, BIM tools, and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven construction experience.
• Experience administering safety and QC policies and coordinating with a safety culture.
• 1+ year tracking COs and tickets.
• 1+ year working with plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision of field crews on site.
• Inspect subcontractor work for contract compliance.
• Develop and maintain site logistics and short-term schedules.
• Monitor labor and material costs and prepare reports.
• Review trade contractor payment applications and change orders.
• Mentor team members to support a safe, injury-free environment.
