Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking a Field Engineer to supervise on-site activities, enforce safety protocols, and coordinate with project teams to meet schedule and budget targets.

The role involves developing short-term schedules, supervising field labor, inspecting subcontractor operations, and reporting progress daily. Requires a Construction Management degree or equivalent experience and 1–3 years in construction, with no sponsorship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent OR 6 years of equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of relevant construction experience.
• Currently, the company is not considering applicants for this position who now or in the future require employment sponsorship by the company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate on-site project activities to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
• Support Project Engineers, Superintendents and Project Managers in day-to-day project responsibilities.
• Prepare and submit daily reports documenting work progress and coordinates with subcontractors and meetings.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management
