Job summary

TRACTIAN seeks a Field Engineer to act as the face of the company at client sites, installing products, delivering on-site support, and ensuring long-term success. The role blends technical expertise with superb customer service to enable smooth setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting while building strong client relationships.

You will evaluate customer environments, design sensor implementation plans, and lead the technical strategy for installations, directing onsite resources to execute

Qualifications

• Solid experience with on-site installations and support in a tech environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage on-site responsibilities effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide training to clients.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation and configuration of our software and hardware solutions.
• Design project scopes and installation plans for new deployments.
• Advise customers on sensor network architecture and implementation best practices.
• Independently make decisions on troubleshooting and integration approaches.
• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting as required.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery and setup of materials.
• Train clients on the proper use and maintenance of installed products.
• Train and oversee contractors or junior technicians on installation processes.
• Document installation processes and client interactions in HubSpot CRM.
• Revisit sites for routine maintenance checks and client follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company installation standards.
