Sitemetric is seeking an experienced Field Tech III to own advanced customer deployments and lead a pod of field technicians across multiple sites. You will train, mentor, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while delivering reliable, real‑time data solutions.

The role involves deploying IoT sensor systems, configuring wireless networks, documenting activities, and coordinating travel to job sites nationwide. A hands‑on leader with strong problem‑solving skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience installing and deploying industrial sensor technologies across multiple environments
• 3+ years working in construction technology, industrial automation, or similar field deployed technology environments
• OSHA 10 or 30 (Construction Site Safety)
• CompTIA A+, Network+ or equivalent certifications
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms and data integration

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor new Field Tech hires
• Manage a pod of 2-5 Field Techs coordinating daily assignments, quality, safety and travel
• Deploy and install IoT sensor systems and environmental/motion/proximity sensors
• Configure IoT devices, establish wireless connections, test system performance
• Troubleshoot field issues and perform maintenance to restore operations
• Document field activities and report to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Organize daily field operations and travel logistics while maintaining professionalism
