Job summary

Sitemetric is seeking a Field Tech III to own deployments, mentor technicians, and lead a pod across multiple job sites. You will configure IoT sensors, manage wireless networks, and ensure data is captured for real-time insights.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and operational excellence with on-site leadership and training responsibilities. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in industrial sensor deployments and construction tech environments, plus certifications like CompTIA

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience installing and deploying industrial sensor technologies.
• 3+ years in construction technology or similar field deployments.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+.
• OSHA 10 or 30 (Construction Site Safety).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and data integration.
• Strong customer-facing and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor new field tech hires and junior technicians.
• Manage a pod of 2-5 Field Techs, coordinating assignments and safety.
• Deploy and install IoT systems and sensors per project specs.
• Configure devices, establish wireless connections, test integrations.
• Perform on-site maintenance and troubleshoot issues to restore services.
• Document field activities and provide timely management reports.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams and back-office to ensure project success.
• Organize daily field operations and travel logistics independently.
