Job summary

Sitemetric is seeking a Field Tech III to lead on-site IoT sensor deployments across multiple construction sites in the DFW area. You will train and mentor technicians, manage a pod, and ensure safety, reliability, and adherence to company standards while delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities include deploying IoT systems, configuring devices, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with enterprise teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience installing and deploying industrial sensor technologies (environmental, motion, proximity, BLE, NFC, LTE, RFID, or similar).
• 3+ years in construction technology, industrial automation, or similar field deployed technology environments.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.
• OSHA 10 or 30 (Construction Site Safety) certification.

Responsibilities

• Train new Field Tech hires with on-the-job mentorship and performance feedback.
• Manage a pod of 2–5 Field Techs; coordinate daily assignments, work quality, safety compliance, and travel schedules.
• Deploy and install IoT systems including environmental sensors, motion, proximity, BLE, NFC, LTE, RFID devices per specs.
• Configure IoT devices, establish wireless network connections, and test for proper functionality and integration.
• Conduct on-site maintenance and troubleshooting to restore systems.
• Document and report field activities and performance to management.
• Collaborate with enterprise implementation teams and stakeholders for seamless project execution.
• Manage field operations independently including daily activities and travel logistics.
