Job summary

Sitemetric is seeking a Field Tech III to lead on-site deployments and mentor a small team of field technicians across multiple construction sites in the U.S. You will deploy IoT sensors, configure wireless networks, and ensure data is accurately transmitted for real-time insights.

You will oversee a pod of field techs, maintain safety and quality standards, and train junior staff while collaborating with enterprise teams to deliver reliable installations nationwide.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience installing and deploying industrial sensor tech.
• 3+ years in construction technology environments.
• CompTIA A+/Network+ certifications.
• OSHA 10 or 30 safety certification.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and data integration basics.
• Ability to build effective customer relationships on site.
• Attention to detail and task prioritization in dynamic settings.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks.
• Experience with access control, networking, cameras, IoT, low-voltage systems.
• Driver's license may be required at some sites.
• Proficiency with mobile devices, scanners, tablets.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor field tech hires.
• Manage a pod of 2-5 Field Techs including scheduling and safety.
• Deploy and install IoT systems and environmental sensors.
• Configure devices and establish wireless network connections.
• Perform on-site maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Document installation details and field activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution.
• Organize daily field operations and travel logistics.
