Job summary
Connect-Force is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and troubleshoot sophisticated industrial automation equipment for our customers. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, perform on-site startup, and provide technical support while working closely with engineering teams.
The successful candidate will read electrical and mechanical drawings, communicate field insights, and collaborate across controls, mechanical, electrical, and project teams
Qualifications
- Engineering degree is valuable, but strong hands-on industrial experience will also be considered.
- Experience with industrial machinery, automation, and machine startup.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, controls, and software-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Install, start up, commission, and troubleshoot industrial machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, controls, and software issues.
- Provide on-site technical support during installation and startup.
- Read electrical and mechanical drawings and interpret schematics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve field issues.
- Document service activities and communicate improvements.
