Job summary

LDRM, a joint venture including Lockwood Hills Federal (an Akima company) and DTSV, seeks a Unit Manager to supervise and develop a management team for the National Visa Center. You will deliver timely performance data to the U.S.

State Department, lead briefings, and coordinate with overseas posts and agencies. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience, 2 years of management, strong English and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of experience substituting a bachelor’s degree.
• Two years of progressive management experience.
• Four years of analytical or information processing experience for managing analysts.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with NICE Contact Center software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise, coach and develop Supervisors and other management staff.
• Hire and manage a technically proficient and professional staff.
• Provide timely deliverables and performance data to the customer.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance service delivery and performance.
• Promote innovation, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Resolve problems with minimal disruption to contract activities.
• Participate in conference calls and videoconferences with overseas posts and agencies; brief visitors as needed.
• Perform other duties to advance the business unit’s mission.
