Job summary

The Salvation Army Denver Red Shield Corps is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to oversee cleaning, care, and maintenance of the Red Shield building and surrounding grounds. You will coordinate with vendors, manage a small fleet, and supervise custodial staff while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will lead preventative maintenance for HVAC and building components, log work orders, and report to the Center Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with two years related work experience and one year supervisory experience.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English for emails, safety docs, and MSDS.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee janitorial and maintenance operations, schedule custodial staff, obtain vendor bids, and manage service contracts.
• Perform daily facility inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Supervise custodial staff and conduct annual performance evaluations with Center Director.
• Develop and manage the facility budget, ensuring cost-efficient operations.
