Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Facilities Coordinator in Denver, CO. The role oversees cleaning, care, and maintenance of the Red Shield building and surrounding lots, coordinating with external vendors and managing a small vehicle fleet. Physical labor and supervisory duties are part of the position.

You will develop preventative maintenance programs for HVAC and building systems, supervise custodial staff, and ensure safety compliance. Weekend/on-call hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2 years related work experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
• Proficient in reading/writing English for emails, safety docs (MSDS).
• Proficient with computer, email, and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, janitorial operations and scheduling of custodial staff.
• Coordinate with vendors, bids, service contracts and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare quarterly reports for Center Director and Corps Officers.
• Develop and manage facility budget; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable standards; maintain MSDS.
