Job summary

The Salvation Army Cleveland Temple Corps is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of the building, grounds and related equipment, ensuring health and safety standards are met and maintained.

Responsibilities include scheduling preventive maintenance and inspections, managing purchasing, supervising janitorial and maintenance staff, coordinating volunteers, arranging contracted services, and maintaining maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• 2 years of experience in building maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver's License and be able to drive for The Salvation Army.

Responsibilities

• Schedule preventative maintenance and required inspections for building.
• Develop and utilize purchase order system to ensure items purchased are needed and within the operating budget.
• Ensure maintenance of equipment and make minor repairs as needed.
• Assist in the coordination of volunteers with regard to property projects.
• Notify supervisor of need for contracted service maintenance, seek pricing on contracted services, and monitor contracted services.
