Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in Flat Rock, MI is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead plant operations, oversee maintenance and regulatory compliance, and support regional/account management. The role requires strong leadership, budget accountability, and safety program oversight within a collaborative team.

The position emphasizes knowledge of CMMS, MS Office/SharePoint, and experience managing both administrative staff and unionized workers in a matrix organization. On-site work in Michigan is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facility management, plant operations, maintenance supervision experience.
• Managerial experience with budget and personnel responsibilities.
• Oversight of administrative staff and unionized hourly employees.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS SharePoint.
• Computer proficiency in CMMS/Work Order systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the plant operations team; ensure maintenance, financial, CMMS, safety, and regulatory compliance programs are efficient.
• Maintain knowledge of MSA and amendments guiding JLL relationships.
• Accountable for financial performance related to Operational Facilities spend within budgets.
• Track KPI/SLA trends and recommend action plans for underperformance in Plant Operations/Engineering.
• Provide oversight for maintenance, projects and vendor activities supporting critical operations.
• Ensure staff is trained in approved practices and create a safe work environment with proper PPE.
