Job summary

JLL is seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator in Detroit, MI, on-site, to oversee operations and maintenance of commercial properties. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, manage vendors, respond to tenant requests, and support space planning across multiple properties.

The role requires CMMS proficiency, strong communication, and knowledge of building systems with a focus on safety and compliance. On-site work and travel between properties are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial facilities or property management experience.
• Familiarity with CMMS and building systems such as HVAC and electrical.
• Ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and staff.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive maintenance across building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety.
• Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurement.
• Respond to tenant service requests and coordinate with teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct regular building inspections and maintain equipment records.
• Support space planning and move coordination for tenants.
• Assist with emergency response procedures and coordinate with security and fire safety.
