Job summary

Property Management Company is seeking a motivated Facility Operations Manager to serve as the primary on-site representative for 8 industrial buildings in the Providence/Southeastern Massachusetts market. You will oversee day-to-day operations, tenant relations, vendor coordination, and basic maintenance to ensure a safe, well-maintained environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial property or facilities management, strong customer service skills, and knowledge of basic building

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in commercial property management, facilities management, maintenance operations, or related field.
• Strong customer service and tenant relations skills.
• Knowledge of basic building systems including plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, hardware, and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; Yardi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site representative for ownership and management of 8 buildings comprising 1.3M SF of multi-tenant industrial assets in the Providence/Southeastern MA markets.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and operational concerns.
• Coordinate and oversee recurring property services such as landscaping, janitorial, pest control, parking lot maintenance, HVAC service, and fire life safety inspections.
• Assist with emergency response efforts and coordinate corrective actions following property incidents.
• Respond to tenant inquiries in a timely and professional manner and maintain positive tenant relationships.
• Coordinate tenant move-in/move-out activities, including property inspections and communications about scheduled maintenance.
