Prairie Star Ranch, Inc. is seeking a Facilities and Grounds Supervisor to oversee the care of its 291-acre camp near Williamsburg, Kansas.

This full-time, on-site role reports to the Executive Director and leads facilities and grounds operations to keep buildings, grounds, vehicles, and spaces safe and functional for camp, retreat, and outreach ministries. The position requires hands-on maintenance, supervisory experience, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years facilities/grounds experience preferred.
• Two years supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Background check and Safe Environment training may be required.

Responsabilités

• Supervise maintenance and grounds technicians; schedule work and ensure safety and accountability.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs on facilities, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance projects, landscape work, and facility improvements.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and project schedules; monitor progress.
• Delegate tasks and track completion; ensure quality results.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and urgent maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and organizational policies.
