Job summary

Sundance Trail Ranch is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Lead to manage the equipment program, capital projects, and on-site teams year-round. You’ll ensure safe operation of water, propane, septic, and power systems, and you’ll coordinate contractors with an eye for cost and quality.

Live-in options are possible with on-site meals provided; you’ll report to the Ranch Manager and help keep facilities in top shape through all seasons at 8,000 feet. Valid license and CPR/First Aid required.

Responsibilities

• Own the equipment program, including attachments, vehicles, logs.
• Manage the capital projects list: sequencing and costing.
• Source and supervise contractors on site, ensuring quoted work is built.
• Oversee buildings and systems: water, propane, septic, power.
• Direct day-to-day two Wrangler & Ranch Hands; horsemanship stays with Barn Boss.
• Ensure winter on-call readiness and proper safety protocols.
