Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth events. You will handle on-site equipment setup, operate and troubleshoot AV gear, and coordinate with clients and vendors to finalize invoices.

This role requires a High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred), 1 year of hospitality or audiovisual experience, and a valid driver's license where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Internal/external training and certifications must be completed within 60 days of start date.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Meet with guests onsite to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and resolve problems promptly.
• Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately and interact with staff/vendors.
• Collaborate with clients to finalize invoices and use Navigator for order entries.
