Job summary

Network Mountain is seeking an experienced Embedded Technician to support access control and security systems at a Midtown Manhattan building.

This on-site role requires you to manage your own workload, own issues through resolution, and communicate clearly with building teams and vendors. You will be the primary on-site expert for Lenel/Genetec and related hardware, with a strong emphasis on organization and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Certified in Lenel/Genetec access-control systems.
• Hands-on experience with access control hardware and readers.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing doors and locks.
• Proficient in ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing system.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage tickets end-to-end independently.
• Comfort coordinating with locksmiths and vendors.
• Professional demeanor for a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site embedded technician for the building.
• Troubleshoot and maintain access control systems, doors, readers, and locks.
• Manage tickets from start to finish in the portal.
• Coordinate with outside vendors when needed.
• Communicate status, next steps, and completed work clearly.
• Keep detailed records and ensure issues aren’t lost between teams.
• Work independently while coordinating with building management and onsite staff.
