Job summary

SimVentions seeks a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and test systems to ensure cybersecurity of cutting-edge platforms.

Requirements include DoD policy knowledge, DoD testing experience, and IAT Level II/III certs. This full-time role expects active Top Secret clearance eligibility and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five (5) years general security engineering experience.
• Two (2) of the five (5) years on Combat Weapons Systems experience (e.g., Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt) with DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II/III.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document system from a Cybersecurity perspective using MS Office tools.
• Plan, execute and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Lead and perform as ISSO for security matters on information systems.
• Apply STIGs and DoD security policies to maintain compliance.
• Conduct vulnerability testing using ACAS and other IA/security tools.
