Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. This role focuses on RMF A&A, continuous monitoring, and system testing to secure advanced platforms.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required, with US citizenship for clearance access. The position anticipates funding in December 2026 and offers a compensation range of $100,000 to $156,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus comprehensive

Qualifications

• Two (2) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five (5) years general security engineering experience.
• Two (2) of the five (5) years on Combat Weapons Systems such as Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt, or similar Navy systems; IAT Level II/III per DoD 8570.01.
• Understanding of computer security, DoD policies and clear communication of complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document system from a Cybersecurity perspective using MS Office tools.
• Derive and document CONOPS for Mission Assurance.
• Apply DISA STIGs and NSA recommendations.
• Perform vulnerability testing and risk assessments.
• Lead ISSO activities for security matters on information systems.
• Develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, and procedures for combat systems.
