Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative at Dyess AFB to oversee on-site quality assurance, monitor contractor performance, and ensure conformance with contract requirements from pre-construction to closeout.

You will inspect activities, review submittals, and coordinate with design teams and stakeholders. The role requires DoD/USACE project experience, strong communication, and the ability to obtain access to military installations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• Experience with federal construction projects and DoD/USACE is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience inspecting and monitoring construction quality, schedules and contractor performance.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities for contract compliance and quality.
• Perform daily site inspections and document project activities and contractor performance.
• Monitor schedules and advise project team of delays or concerns.
• Review submittals, including shop drawings and safety plans.
• Participate in RFIs, coordinating with designers and engineers.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance and contract compliance.
• Conduct QA inspections through all construction phases.
• Assist with scopes of work and contract modifications.
• Review payment requests and verify quantities and materials on-site.
• Ensure OSHA and EM 385-1-1 safety compliance.
