Job summary

Linamar Corporation in Howell, MI is seeking an IT Support professional to monitor and resolve complex hardware and software issues across our facilities. You will serve as the primary interface with vendor support and provide internal analysis to ensure proper escalation during outages.

The role requires extensive PC/LAN knowledge, experience with Windows, Office, and network management tools, and a proactive approach to maintaining IT services across multi-protocol environments.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in data communications troubleshooting.
• Familiar with Windows Desktop OS and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret policy manuals and technical bulletins.
• Experience supporting LAN and networked devices.
• ITIL/ITSM knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle service desk requests efficiently within SLA.
• Troubleshoot desktop issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain hardware and software inventories.
• Assist in budgeting and KPI reporting.
• Manage local phone systems and moves/adds/changes.
• Set up and install network equipment at facilities.
