Job summary

ZENITH INFOTEK LLC is seeking a Lab IT/OT Support Engineer to bridge engineering, facilities, vendors, controls teams, and enterprise IT, ensuring minimal downtime for lab/test equipment. You will troubleshoot Windows, hardware/software issues and support PLCs within a complex IT/OT environment onsite.

The role involves coordinating with Plant IT and vendors, documenting incidents, root causes and fixes, and creating knowledge articles to facilitate rapid issue resolution in Northville/onsite

Qualifications

• Experience in IT/OT, manufacturing, laboratory or engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, permissions and system administration.
• Ability to support legacy systems and non-standard environments.
• Strong problem-solving, vendor coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory test systems, HIL platforms, industrial equipment and specialized applications.
• Troubleshoot Windows, drivers, software, USB devices, PCs and data-transfer issues.
• Provide basic Allen-Bradley PLC and ladder logic troubleshooting.
• Support network connectivity, whitelisting, firewall and infrastructure-related issues.
• Coordinate with vendors, engineering teams and Plant IT through issue resolution.
• Document incidents, root causes, fixes and knowledge articles.

Job Summary

Summary: Serve as the primary IT/OT support resource for laboratory and test equipment, bridging engineering, facilities, vendors, controls teams, and enterprise IT to minimize downtime and resolve issues end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Support laboratory test systems, HIL platforms, industrial equipment and specialized applications.


• Troubleshoot Windows, drivers, software, USB devices, PCs and data-transfer issues.


• Provide basic Allen-Bradley PLC and ladder logic troubleshooting.
