Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Edison, New Jersey, to perform IMAC, Break Fix, and Desk Side Support for a strategic customer, combining strong technical skills with exceptional customer service.

The role requires onsite work at the client's facility in Edison, with occasional travel to Belle Mead, rotating on-call/holiday duties, and potential weekend support. Vaccination may be required where legally mandated.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of desktop support experience.
• Experience with Windows OS, MS Office, antivirus, and browser support.
• Hands-on hardware experience and imaging.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and system imaging tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware/software break-fix and diagnostics on desktops, notebooks, printers, and peripherals.
• Provide on-site end-user support and guidance via in-person, phone, email, or video.
• Advise on preventive maintenance and configurations.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems, including firewall/proxy/antivirus related issues.
• Manage tickets and workload using the client-provided ticketing system.
