Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Belle Meade, NJ. The role focuses on on-site support for a strategic client, including IMAC, break/fix, and desk-side assistance.

You will work with Windows, ChromeOS, and various business applications, delivering strong customer service while resolving complex issues. The position requires on-site daily work at the client facility, occasional travel to other locations, and flexibility for on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of desktop support experience.
• Hands-on workstation hardware experience and component replacement.
• Experience with IP phone handsets and network drops.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate-to-complicated configuration and repair of desktops/notebooks and peripherals.
• Provide on-site customer support to end users and diagnose issues via multiple channels.
• Advise on preventive maintenance and configurations affecting performance.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems using advanced tools.
• Perform break/fix hardware and software troubleshooting and repairs.
• Install and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals (IMAC).
• Manage tickets and workloads using the ticketing system.
• Lift and move hardware as required.
