Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency with desktop computers, including installation, configuration, and basic operating system support.
• Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting for end users in a small to medium-sized environment.
• Hands-on printer support, including setup, connectivity, and resolving print-related issues.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform computer repair, including component replacement and basic hardware maintenance.
• Strong customer service orientation, clear communication skills, and the ability to explain technical issues in accessible terms.
• Ability to work on-site in Warwick, RI, manage multiple support requests, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, common productivity software, and basic networking concepts is preferred.
• Relevant technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, peripherals, and printers.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers and printers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Document work performed and assist with inventory and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with other technical staff on workstation environments.
• Support system upgrades, moves, and deployments as needed.
